Dr. Douglas C. Rienks Dr. Rienks graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1991. Dr. Rienks' special interests are working with children, geriatrics, primary eye care, ocular disease and contact lenses. Dr. Rienks' community involvement includes member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, and Yankee Hill Country Club. He has a wife, Linda, and two children, Alexis and Nicholas. Dr. Rienks is active in the American Optometric Association and Nebraska Optometric Association. Dr. Rienks began practice in Denison, Iowa where he was for 10 years before moving back to Nebraska for family reasons. |

Linda Rienks - Office Manager Linda Rienks has recently been added to the office to oversee administrative duties. Her first concern is making sure the office will be running properly! Linda's background is in the field of education, as she was a teacher for 20 years before coming to Nebraska Eye Institute. Linda has been married to Doug for 19 years and has two children, Alexis and Nicholas. Linda's hobbies include running, watching her kids in their many activities, attending collegiate athletic events, and golfing when the spare minutes present themselves. |

Randall S. - Optician Randall joined Nebraska Eye Institute in Sept. of 2005 from the Rio Grande Valley, Texas with 5 years of previous optical experience. He is knowledgable in all the latest technology in lens design and will guide you through finding the frame that will best suit your lifestyle and needs. Randall is a native of Nebraska and enjoys spending time with his 3 children and playing guitar during his free time. Randall obtained his BS in Human Relations from Doane College in 2009. |

Carolina A. - Ophthalmic Technician Carolina joined the team of Nebraska Eye Institute in January of 2007. Her responsibilities include but are not limited to pre-testing and assisting the Dr. with patient care. She also assists in styling and dispensing spectacles and to instruct and dispense contact lenses. Carolina enjoys art, traveling, and sharing good times and laughs with friends and family, especially her son. Carolina attends Southeast Community College where she is studying for her nursing degree. |

Kylee A. - Receptionist Kylee joined Nebraska Eye Institute in October of 2007. Her responsibilities include greeting patients, answering phones, insurance, scheduling, and assisting in styling and dispensing in optical when needed. Kylee enjoys spending time with her four children, and family. Kylee graduated in September of 2008 with an Associates degree in marketing. She is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree from Peru State College. |

Andi - Optician Andi joined the Nebraska Eye Institute team in January of 2009, bringing with her more than two years of optical experience. After obtaining her paraoptometric certification in April of 2008, she continues her studies within optics by pursuing an ABO certification. She loves being able to help patients pick out a frame that is both flattering to their facial features as well as their lifestyle. Andi's hobbies include following her favorite college and professional football teams (go Huskers!) She also enjoys going to the movie theatre, as well as the Eagle stockcar races during the summer months. One of her passions is cooking; she enjoys trying a new dish every meal. |
